Gerard Butler proved he's the perfect gentleman during a night out in New York City last Thursday (10/28) by coming to the rescue of a girl who fell over in the street.
The 300 star enjoyed an evening with friends at trendy Manhattan restaurant Villa Pacri on Thursday. After leaving the restaurant, the group found a woman lying in the street outside after having tripped on her high-heeled shoes, according to the New York Daily News.
Butler reportedly dashed over to help her to her feet, while his friends picked up the contents of her purse which had scattered in the fall before sending the grateful girl on her way.

Gerard Butler was dining at the exclusive McCormick & Schmick's eatery in Beverly Hills when he noticed the duo struggling to keep their plates on the table. Realising they were trying to celebrate their special day, Gerard immediately stepped in to ease the situation.
"The couple were celebrating their 60th anniversary," a source explained. "They were having a problem with a wobbly table. Gerard took some sugar packets and balanced the table perfectly."
The pair were bowled over by Gerard’s kindness, but he would not accept their offer of a drink in repayment.
