Not Ready for Kids

Gerard Butler still has reservations about becoming a dad. He
worries his career would get in the way of family life.

"Some days I think it would be great, but other days I don't because my job takes me all over the place," Gerard tells Now. "I wouldn't necessarily be around for them that much. But I can definitely imagine it happening one day. I love being an uncle and I get on well with kids."

Getting Ready for the Oscars

Gerard Butler gets pampered and ready for the Academy Awards by getting his hair done at Chris McMillan Salon and then heading to a tanning salon on Friday (March 5) in Beverly Hills.

Training for Coriolanus

Gerard Butler is in training to prepare for his role in Ralph Fiennes' directorial debut, an adaptation of Shakespeare tragedy 'Coriolanus'. He is heading to Belgrade to start shooting the movie, in which he plays rebel leader Tullus Aufidius, and he is currently bulking up.

Gerry is going to the Oscar's alone

Gerard Butler is not taking a date to the upcoming Oscars ceremony, which will be held at the Kodak Theatre in LA on March 7.

He said: "I'm not taking a date - unless I have a serious girlfriend, which probably a lot of people know is very rare. There are enough rumours about what's going on in my life without sparking another one."

Asked if he ever plans on settling down, he said: "Yeah, definitely. I give myself another 25 to 30 years. Then I think it will be time to settle down. I'm very relaxed about the whole thing."

Gerard Butler made a cameo at the Artists for Peace & Justice Fundraiser at the Beverly Hills Hotel hosted by Vanity Fair and Brioni on March 3rd.
